NDIS Supports

  • Community Access can be almost anything you feel that will benefit you. Examples of community Access are:

    • Accessing local community groups

    • Attending appointments

    • Shopping

    • Going for a coffee

    • Attending the Gym/Pool and or going for a walk

    • Exploring new destinations

  • The role of a Support Coordinator is to help you utlise your plan in a way that helps you to reach your goals.

    Ways a Support Coordinator may assist you include:

    • Helping you to understand your NDIS Plan

    • Connecting you with relevant services and supports

    • Helping you to maintain formal and informal supports

    • Monitoring your budget

    • Building your skills to enable you to navigate supports independently

    • Assist with NDIS Plan reviews

  • Psychosocial Recovery Coaches are individuals who have an understanding of mental health and often a lived experience background.

    Similarly to a Support Coordinator, the role of a Recovery Coach is to assist you with support connection, as well as support you on your journey.

    The role of a Recovery Coach can include but is not limited to:

    • Helping you to understand your NDIS Plan

    • Connecting you with relevant services and supports

    • Helping you to maintain formal and informal supports

    • Monitoring your budget

    • Building your skills to enable you to navigate supports independently

    • Assist with NDIS Plan reviews

    • Liaise with other Supports to understand your needs and offer the best support to you
